For the 2022 Christmas season, the Dior fashion house had the opportunity to organize a magical exhibition, The Fabulous World of Dior, in the iconic Harrods store in London, where the highlights of the designer’s life were transcribed in gingerbread. As part of this extraordinary event, the Dior teams chose the agency to assist them in the digitalization of the exhibition.
How to offer visitors to the Dior exhibition a memorable experience, thanks to an optimized digital journey, from pre-booking to the end of the event?
- 01. The design of an enchanted universe
- 02. A powerful interface to facilitate pre-booking
of an enchanted universe
For the exhibition, the agency designed an original digital tool, in parallel to the physical exhibition organized at Harrods in London. Accessible via mobile, this mini-site offered the public an ultra-immersive experience.
Before coming, visitors have the opportunity to create a gingerbread character, which is the main thread of the exhibition dedicated to the designer. On the day, by scanning the QR code assigned to them, they will find their personalized gingerbread to launch the online experience.
This avatar then follows the visitors to the thank’s note of the exhibition so they can share this moment of fairytale with their friends on Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin.
At the heart of this journey, we modeled iconic Christian Dior objects in 3D to bring them to life. As the visitors scroll through, they are plunged into a universe filled with memories and poetry.
To link the physical and online experience, throughout the visit, we have also mixed archival photos and memorable anecdotes.
This digital itinerary, specially designed for the event, is an opportunity for visitors to access additional content on Christian Dior in an original approach.
A powerful interface
to facilitate pre-booking
Visitors are invited to book their ticket via this module. They can choose the number of seats they want according to their profile: adults, children, with reduced mobility…
Moreover, thanks to the useful addition of an email reminder, visitors can confirm or cancel their presence the day before the event. And to ensure that the exhibition is filled to capacity, a gauge is updated in real time based on the number of seats reserved.
Users have access to additional content by browsing the mini-site menu: practical information (hours and a detailed map of the store), exciting details about Christian Dior and the city of London, as well as a link to an Instagram Lens to extend the experience on social media.
We put all our expertise at your service in order to carry out well-thought-out and well-executed projects alongside you. We look forward to meeting you.
